Paris School of Economics, 14th-15th December 2017 48 Boulevard Jourdan, 75014 Paris Description The first WID.world Conference will be hosted by the Paris School of Economics on December 14th and 15th, 2017.

The provisional program for the conference is available through this link, where we will also make amendments if any revisions are made.

The conference is structured along three axes:

(i) The release of the first issue of the World Inequality Report on Thursday 14th (9.30 am – 1 pm). The report will provide global estimates of income and wealth inequality drawing on the latest evidence gathered in WID.world, and will discuss implications for future research and the global policy debate on rising inequality.

MEDIA: For any media related question, please contact press@wid.world.

(ii) A session in honor of Tony Atkinson in the afternoon of December 14th.

(iii) Presentations of research papers on income and wealth inequality, as well as on progress made on the DINA-Distributional National Accounts agenda.

Please register using the form below. Please note, there are no fees to attend this conference, but participants will need to make their own travel arrangements, with the exception of authors who have been granted financial assistance (and who have already been contacted).
